Professional Supervision for Speech Pathologists 

 

Are you a new graduate or new private practice? Maybe you're looking for some fresh ideas and a different perspective with your clinical caseload? Or are you new to a specific areas of clinical practice? Professional supervision is a vital part of ongoing professional development as a speech pathologist, particularly within the first few years after graduating. 

Marion has over 15 years of paediatric clinical experience, including 10 years of providing speech pathology supervision across a variety of settings. Specific areas of interest include:

  • late talkers

  • hearing impairment

  • speech difficulties 

  • language development

  • supporting early career speech pathologists

  • supporting clinicians new to private practice 

Support can also be provided around aspects of general caseload management, family-centred practice and professionalism.  

Supervision sessions are usually about an hour in length and can take place face-to-face (in Brisbane), via phone or using Zoom. Frequency and fees are negotiated on an individual basis depending on your needs.
