Initial Assessment
Conducted over a 1 hour session, includes:
- assessment with your child to identify their strengths and weaknesses
- discussion with the parents including your concerns, assessment results, recommendations and a plan.
A short summary report is usually provided within 2-3 weeks.
Private/EPC NDIS
Initial assessment 0-5yrs $292 $308
Initial assessment school-aged $367 $383

For minor concerns, a shorter 45min session may be possible. This can be discussed at the time of booking. $242 $258
For older children, a second assessment session is often required. This is charged at the cost of a therapy session.

Therapy sessions
Private/EPC NDIS
30mins session (1 goal only) $117 $133
45mins session (2+ goals) $167 $183

Non face-to-face tasks - an additional 5mins prep/admin time is included for private/EPC clients; an additional 10mins prep/admin time is included for NDIS clients due to increased complexity

NDIS Funding*
This practice is able to support families who are either self-managing or plan-managing their NDIS funding. Any additional costs incurred not included in the therapy sessions will be charged at the hourly rate, to be confirmed at the time.

Additional Services
Other services such as screening tests at kindy/childcare, parent information talks and training for educators are available. As each service is individualised, prices vary depending on what you are looking for. Please contact the clinic for more information.

Services are predominantly provided out of the clinic at Ferny Grove, however requests for school/childcare visits are considered on an individual basis. Travel fees will apply.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations with at least 48hrs notice will not incur a cancellation fee.
Cancellations with less than 48hrs notice, will incur a fee of 100% of the session fee.

Kids in the Hills Speech Pathology abides by the National Code of Conduct for Health Care Workers as well as the Speech Pathology Australia Code of Ethics. Links to these services are listed below. Payment Methods
Payment is to be finalised at the time of appointment, unless prior arrangements have been made. EFTPOS and HICAPS facilities are available at the clinic.
