Fees and Payment Information

Initial Assessment (private/EPC funding; discounted rate)
Conducted over a 1 hour session, includes:
- assessment with your child to identify their strengths and weaknesses
- discussion with the parents including your concerns, assessment results, recommendations and a plan.
A short summary report is usually provided within 2-3 weeks.
Initial assessment 0-5yrs $255
Initial assessment school-aged $293
For minor concerns, a shorter 45min session may be available. This can be discussed at the time of booking. $190
A detailed comprehensive report is available on request for $96/hr. This may be recommended for children at school.
For older children, a second assessment session is usually required. This is charged at the cost of a therapy session.
NDIS Funding (full rate)*
This practice is able to support families who are either self-managing or plan-managing their NDIS funding. Due to the increased complexity, reporting requirements and administrative tasks involved, fees are charged at $192/hr as follows:
Initial assessment 0-5yrs $288
Initial assessment school-aged $336
Therapy session 30mins $96
Therapy session 45mins $144
Review reports $96/hr

Other services such as screening tests at kindy/childcare, parent information talks and training for educators are available. As each service is individualised, prices vary depending on what you are looking for. Please contact the clinic for more information.
Services are predominantly provided out of the clinic at Ferny Hills, however requests for school visits are considered on an individual basis. Travel fees may apply.
Cancellations with at least 48hrs notice will not incur a cancellation fee.
Cancellations with less than 48hrs notice, will incur a fee of 100% of the session fee.

Kids in the Hills Speech Pathology abides by the National Code of Conduct for Health Care Workers as well as the Speech Pathology Australia Code of Ethics. Links to these services are listed below. Should you have any concerns about the service you have received, please do not hesitate to raise it with your therapist. Alternatively you can contact the Office of the Health Ombudsman.
It is appreciated if payment is finalised at the time of appointment. EFTPOS and HICAPS facilities are available at the clinic.
