A Deep Dive into Lisps​​

​​​Overview:
Are you a recent graduate and not sure how to treat a lisp? New to private practice and now have lots of lisps to treat? Have a vague idea of lisps but unsure of the actual process? Just plain-scared of lisps!!
If you answered yes to any of these questions, this workshop is for you!
Topics covered:
- Normal production of ‘s’
- Assessment including the oromotor exam with videos
- Intervention principles including cueing, hierarchies, cognitive reshaping, principles of motor learning and generalisation
- Sound elicitation cues that work well for lateral vs interdental lisps
- Case examples
